So you want to help with the wiki? Great, there's a lot of episodes, characters, performers, NPC's and gags that need their own page, and lots of pages need editing, so your help is needed and appreciated. This post is meant to get you started, and fill you in on how you best can help.
First of all, it's always good to have the Template Guide open in a different tab
Episodes: If you look at the main pages for the shows, you'll see that a lot of the episode links are red. Click on a red link you'd like to add an episode for, and you'll be prompted to create a new page. This page will have a pre generated name. Please do not change the name or create episode pages by your self, follow a red link, and they will automatically be named and linked correctly. Then you check out how to add our neat infoboxes from the Template Guide and add the info.
Throw in the official synopsis and a link to the episode and we have a page!
There's still a lot that could be added to it. A more detailed summary, list of NPC's, gags, bits, continuity stuff. Add as much as you want, and try and make it look as streamlined with the other pages as possible.
NOTE: On some pages, running gags are under the headline "Goofs". They should be called "Bits " since that is what they use on the show
Characters: Whether you create this one from scratch or generate it from a red link isn't as important, make sure the spelling is correct and the links should work. Again, check out the Template Guide for the infobox appropriate for the character, add in a description and boom. New character page. Again, check out how other pages look and try and match it.
Other Pages: There's a lot of strange jokes and other things that you might want to have it's own page. Write it! Try and make it as close to similar pages as you can, but the important part is that you write.
Pictures and other media: I've been adamant in insisting that we get express permission for all art we put up on the site. I've been tracking down as much fan-art as I can, asked permission and uploaded it with credit. So if a particular piece of art isn't in the gallery , there's a good chance I've got it in a folder and am waiting to hear back from the artist. If you want to, feel free to track down the artist and ask yourself, and upload it with a credit in the description. Be sure to check “copyrighted and uploaded with permission” before uploading it. But frankly, you're probably better of sending me the image and I'll add it to my list. If you are the artist you can of course upload it yourself, but make sure and make it clear that it's your own work so I don't think it's been uploaded without permission and remove it.
If you use some of the uploaded art on a page, use at least one of the credits under the image.
If you want to use some official art from one of the featured games, you can upload it with credit under fair use.
