Opening Crawl:

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

Eighteen years before the Battle of Yavin, it is a time of oppression and fear. Chancellor Palpatine has used his Emergency Powers to declare himself Galactic Emperor. In one fell swoop, he has destroyed both the Order of the Jedi and disabled the Galactic Senate, banishing any hope for democracy in the galaxy.

The Republic Clone Troopers are slowly being phased out and replaced with draftees from across the Empire to build Palpatine's dreaded Stormtrooper army. Pacifists, Conscientious Objectors, and Neutral Parties watch in horror as their loved ones become forcibly embroiled in the conquest of Independent Systems.

Deserters, Draft Dodgers, and Rebels who refuse to submit to the Will of the Empire are branded as criminals. They must huddle with the most wretched scum and villains in the galaxy to hide from the Emperor's watchful eye. A group of such heroes sit in Mos Eisley Cantina on Tatooine, the most notoriously lawless world in the galaxy's Outer Rim.

Nebulous Kanan

The events of this episode exist in Nebulous Kanan, as they were recorded for One Shot and before they decided to make this a long form campaign. The players have not quite found the characters' voices, and some minor events and descriptions contradict what is said in Campaign proper. The events could be considered Kanan unless otherwise contradicted in later episodes.
